A small number of nice species is found in Sulawesi. The most spectacular of them certainly is N. hamata. However N. eymae and N. glabrata are also very nice plants for cultivation.
N. eymae (Gunung Lumut) Typical upper pitcher - note the yellow coloration.
N. eymae Some consider it a bizarre form of N. maxima. Anyway, it is a spectacular plant! N. eymae is characterised by the funnel shaped upper pitchers.
N. glabrata A small and pretty plant. In fact it's one of the smallest species, which makes it very suitable for cultivation in a highland terrarium.
N. hamata Related to Nepenthes tentaculata. N. hamata certainly has one of the most spectacular pitchers. The upper pitchers' peristomes carry huge teeth making it a very bizarre sight.
N. tentaculata Nepenthes tentaculata is known to occur in Borneo and Sulawesi. Various forms are frequently found on most peaks reaching 1800 meters or more.
